Professional Summary
I spent 10 years as a technical writer, instructional designer, and trainer in Silicon Valley, then sold my home in Cupertino and went back to school to complete a master's degree. Now I work as a freelance writer and editor.

My writing and editing work spans both the technical and non-technical realms and has ranged from course ware to support SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and proprietary software installations at a number of Fortune 500 companies (Hitachi, Mitsubishi, HP, Cisco, Tandem), to editing academic papers, to co-authoring a book on parent/adolescent communication. I also write a blog about adultism (the oppression of young people by adults) and have volunteered as a sexuality educator for 7th and 8th graders at my Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Lafayette, CO. More currently I am interested in the death with dignity movement.

In short, I embody an eclectic mix of interests, experience, and skill, and offer affordable writing and editing services. My greatest love is collaborating on interesting projects and working with creative people! Please don't hesitate to give me a call to discuss your project. I provide free estimates for my services.
